MODERATION IS KEY for birds as well as humans, as evidenced by a recent episode in Vienna, Austria where 40 songbirds were found dead and suspected of carrying the avian flu. Autopsies instead revealed that they had eaten berries which had fermented, got drunk, flew into windows, and broke their necks.
